Josu:
Right now, in our course there are 5 main project that we are going to work on during the year. Right now we are working on a project that contains 5 pieces: Distribution system, catalogation system, a variator, a tactile screen and a robotic arm. Our project is one of the longest ones, mainly because we were told to disassemble and set up all again.
We already have done the programing and the assembling of the distribution and catalogation section. We gave 3 days for that part, but we ended before so we are pretty advanced right now. Now we will start the rest begining with the screen and going forward to the variator.
In addition of what Josu has said, we've had a lot of troubles to make this work, like programming problems or material problems. Even so, we've managed to make it work and, it works pretty well.
Now we'll have to connect both PLCs (the two computers which make this work) between them and then program an screen to monitorize everything.
Then we'll have to learn how to program a Siemens G120, some kind of computer which controls a three phase electrical engine. Then connect it to the net we've created to connect everything
It looks easy to do in a whole week, but this is a problem wagon, so we cannot chill out.
Iker:
The first week working has been busy. We had to disassemble all the pieces and assemble it again. Next, wire all the sensors and the PLCs. Finally, we made the programs and all the pneumatic system.
Was a hard work.
PD: Winter is coming
