Challenge 3: Week 4

Josu

This week we finished the challenge and have done the exam. We took the first day after vacation to be sure all worked as it should and end the work we left for later. At tuesday we showed the work in front of the class and even it sounds selfish or egocentric, we did it very well, in my opinon we were the best of the class so far. Today, wendsday we had the exam, and I can say it wasn't a pleasure to do it. Im sure it was wrong and I will not pass it, but at least I tried it.

Unai

Azoka has been too damn good. We don't want to work anymore or do things, but here are we, finishing the challenge and just starting the new one. At least is the penultimate challenge, and it looks quite interesting.

Just one more week and Christmas holidays to do nothing with any regrets.

Iker

Today is not the day.

Challenge 3: Week 3

Josu

We are going to have some vacations finnally, I can´t say it was magnificent, but it didn´t went as badly as I thought it would be.

Our work on the challenge is going very correctly, so I will focus on studying for the communication exam. Wish us luck!

Unai

Finally some holidays. We are incredibly tired, we really need some days to, basically, do nothing.

The challenge is going very well. Everything has worked in first try, so we gained enought time to waste time without any regrets.

Next week is the comunication exam. Hopefuly will be easy. We'll see it.

Iker

Hollidaaaaays! I think, we need this break of time to relax a little bit.
This challenge is a little bit hard but we finished all the work yet. We are the best team in class so nothing is impossible for us!

We are going to get drunk this bridge!

Challenge 3: Week 2

IKER

Hello friends!

We came here again to notify you the progress of this team in this challenge.

We have a lot of work to do in a period of little time. We have to do all the things in four days because the next wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday we have hollidays, so we have to try to finish all.

I would like to write more but its impossible, I have to work!

PD: Winter is coming

JOSU:

We've been working very hard lately, we done all the process, and it works perfectly, right now we are in need to end all the exercises, so we could say we are pretty messed up.

We need to focus in this and end up as fast as possible, so we can have some time to study and focus in another stuff.

UNAI:

We are having some troubles with the PROFIBUS connection, a Siemens PLC comunication type, which, conveniently, is the slowest method. Time isn't a problem, we are good with that, so we aren't stressed (yet).

We also have to finnish the EIE report to next week,

Challenge 3: Week 1

JOSU

This week we started the new project, in this project we ae asked to communicate 4 small projects between them, so they do a secuence between them. We already ended the small project, this projects will be the foundation of the big one. We are really looking forward on this project, we think we can deal with it pretty nicely and be the first team ending the completly of the project. We will tell you about this next week.

IKER

Sorry for write this post a little be late but he had so much work in this new challange.
This challange, is going on the comunications between job stations with PLC's.
In the group team all things are ok, and at time all things goes right so we are with a very positive actitude.
Nothing more to say.

UNAI

Now we are working on Step7 Comunication challenge, the longest one. And, conveniently, we have less time than usual to do the work. I mean, loads of work. Probably we will have to stay at class before 2pm to finish it on time, but we don't mind, we want to get as highest rank we can.

That's we haven't written until today, not because we have completely forgotten it. Or maybe yes.

Challenge 2: Week 4

IKER:

Today we can say that we finish the challange!
We did a little presentation in class to know how we did and to finish a "little" exam yesterday of programming in pascal code. I have no more nothing to say, only that I am very happy to finish this challange.
I hope you a nice day guys!

UNAI:

Finally we have finished the OMRON challenge. It has been exhausting because nothing worked, or only sometimes. There were problems which literally the solution was unplug and plug the wire.

Fortunatelly, evereything worked more or less on presentation day, so we are happy with that.

The examen was another thing. I think I did it pretty well and fast, but I don think Iker and Josu agree with me. I mean, it wasn't difficult, but it was a lot of work to do and it's not easy to handle it.

JOSU:

We finnally ended the challenge. It has been a large trip since we ended, and I'm glad we already ended. Due to this we had the exam yesterday, and in contrary to my expectatives I think I made it pretty well. Apart of that today we have the oral exam in english, so Im not sure what the mark will be, but I dont think it will be that difficult.

Wait to the next week for more info.

Challenge 2: Week 3

Iker

Good morning nerds!

This is our last week in this challange. We are so happy to finish this shit of challenge! Everything goes bad and we are angry for that. In this last day we progress to much, we make all the animations in the touch pannel screen and we finally  get to go on the frecuency variator. only we have one problem and that problem calls Servomotor. We cannot make to go on.

Thats all folks!

Josu

We are ending the project after 3 hard weeks. This project has been pretty time consuming, and it become one of the most boring ones for sure. We will be pretty happy to make the presentation of it and make the change to another one. By the way, our team, Bizardunak, has gone to Barakaldo to present our business idea to a contest were they will choose between all of the ideas presented. We think we have done a good job, so we wait a good reception of our business idea.

Unai

We've almost finished the most boring challenge. We haven't touched any wire or machine, oly programming the entire month.

Everything works more or less, but nothing works perfectly, and that's a problem, because tomorrow is the last day to finish it.

I hope we won't need to stay before three o'clock to end it on time, but I'm not optimistic, sincerely.

Challenge 2: Week 2

UNAI

Believe or not, this week has been even more boring than the first one. We've been programming in Pascal the whole week, so there isn't any interesting new about the challenge.

We have showed the EIE work and the add we made (See week 1). We think know we've made a really good work so we aren't worried about that.

IKKKER

I think that in this week we progress too much in this challange. We are already making the second document and we have made all the program in Pascal. We also made the touch pannel screens configuration with all the sensors, graphs, recepies...

At least, we have a positive actitude and that is te most important for we.

Without anymore preambles, I hope that you have a nice week!

PD: May the force be with you!

JOSU

This week we ended the first part of our work in this project. We didn't had that much of trouble with it; comparing with the last one we've done it become to be much easier.

We made the animation that we need to put in the screen and started programming the internal program. It will take a week or 2 so far, but we will definetely finish it.

On the other hand, we shown our Business subject presentation in front of our class, in my opinion it was the best one so far. We wait big things out of this week.

Challenge 2: Week 1

JOSU:

This week we started working on the OMROM screens. This screens are programmed by text based programming language. We didn't had a lot of problems by the time I'm writting this text.

Another thing we have been working on was the business subject. We have done a product based on the security light that cars have intstalled, but we apply them into the bike riders and runners. We create a advertisement video for it, that we have end it for the time of this publication or bit later.

IKER:

Hey comrades!

We have started the new challange! This challange, is based in programation in OMRON systems. We started programming in Pascal Code and in relays diagram.

The next week more news!

PD: Winter Is Coming

UNAI:

Before the most difficult challenge, we have to do the most boring one now. Bassically we have to spend an entire month programming a touchscreen.

We also have to work on a business project, and doing the advertising has been pretty funny

Challenge 1: Week 4

IKER:
And finaly we finished this challenge!
I think that this week was the hardest for us. At the end, we had so much problems. One of them was the frecuency variator, finally, the teachers says to do not use.
We also have done all the exercises for the robot arm and for the artificial vision camera . We can say that this week was the best for the team. At least, we are the best team objectly.
Yesterday, we did the presentation of the challenge and all went succesful!

PD: May the force be with you!

JOSU:

After we worked so much we ended all in the edge of the prestablished time. We were pretty nervou about it, but the presentation day came and the presentation wasnt completly finished. Werushed the creation of this last one so we could showed it as nicely as the time let us. After we showed it, we were reliefed all ended better than we thought. Even if we werent completly ready we shine as a star in the darkness of the night.

UNAI:
Finally everything worked even better than spected. I don't know what else to say, but I have to write stuff to get a good mark in Technical English, so there's a joke:

If you give a man a fish, he eats for a day.

If you teach a man to fish, he can always eat.

If you give a man a fire, he's warm for a day.

If you light a man on fire, he is warm for the rest of his life.

Challenge 1: Week 3

IKER:

This week had be very exhausting for us. We program de touch pannel screen but we had a lot of problems with the frecuency variator. Is givin errors all the tima and we cannot progress in the project. we have only two days for finish and it isn't finish yet. yesterday we program the robotic arm but this arm is going with an camera of artificial vision and isn't finish already.

All we need is patience and try to finish all in time

PD: May the force be with you!

UNAI:

Another week with the endless project. We have started to not being sure if we will be capable to finish it in time.

The Siemens G120 Variator has decided not to work, wasting to days of work.

On the other hand, the robotic hand has worked perfectly, so we only have to program the Artificial Vision to end that part of the project.

I don't know what else to say, everything works wrong like an eternal Friday 13

JOSU:

While my comrades were working in the robot, the variator and the camera I started writting all the documents referred to this one. First I started writting the Economy class info, mainly the canva, dafo and the organigram.

Once I ended doing this I started doing the manteinment manual, all this while my teammates fix all the problems our project has.

Challenge 1: Week 2

Josu:

In our second week we faced a lot of difficulties, we found out that part of the structure was pretty weak, due to the fact that some pipes got broken and the valves didn't work as they should.

After a day fixing our structure we finnally could start programming. Teachers asked us to follow some instructions that our machine needed to follow. One part of the instructions were for the distribution part, another one for the clasification and the last one for the structure itself.

We had huge difficulties following those rules, the reason is because with the kind of materials we had those rules seemed to be impossible to achieve, but thankfully we did it. Today we are just ending those requirements. Easy task for the best team.

Iker:

This second week in class it was very hard to us too. We had to finish all the programs in the PLC's and we had to made all the secuencies with an a text following the steps.

Now we have to program the robot arm, the camera of artificial vision, the touch pannel screen and the frecuency variator. We already had a lot of job so I hope that this next week will be better.

But this isn't nothing for the best team!

Unai:

This've been, by far, the hardest week. Things don't work or they work wrong, so we have to work like three times more than usual. But even then, we are following the calendar and we should be able to finish the project in time.

We also have been designing a logo and slogan for our EIE product, which looks pretty good.

I hope we'll have some best news next week.

Challenge 1: Week 1

Josu:

Right now, in our course there are 5 main project that we are going to work on during the year. Right now we are working on a project that contains 5 pieces: Distribution system, catalogation system, a variator, a tactile screen and a robotic arm. Our project is one of the longest ones, mainly because we were told to disassemble and set up all again.

We already have done the programing and the assembling of the distribution and catalogation section. We gave 3 days for that part, but we ended before so we are pretty advanced right now. Now we will start the rest begining with the screen and going forward to the variator.

Unai:

In addition of what Josu has said, we've had a lot of troubles to make this work, like programming problems or material problems. Even so, we've managed to make it work and, it works pretty well.

Now we'll have to connect both PLCs (the two computers which make this work) between them and then program an screen to monitorize everything.

Then we'll have to learn how to program a Siemens G120, some kind of computer which controls a three phase electrical engine. Then connect it to the net we've created to connect everything

It looks easy to do in a whole week, but this is a problem wagon, so we cannot chill out.

Iker:

The first week working has been busy. We had to disassemble all the pieces and assemble it again. Next, wire  all the sensors and the PLCs. Finally, we made the programs and all the pneumatic system.

Was a hard work.

PD: Winter is coming

miércoles, 13 de septiembre de 2017

Hello everyone

Unai:

Hello, beardless people. We are Josu, Iker and Unai, and we are (objetively) the best team from 2ARI. We will be posting here new content every week about all tasks; or, at least, I hope so.

Iker:

Hello, people. The name of this team is "Bizardunak", because we are people with beard. The word, comes from basque, which means bearded people. Thanks for reading this post. Leave us a comment and follow us.

Josu:

Hey there, my colleagues already explained pretty well what this blog is about. We hope you have a nice week and we will be able to post some new thing as early as possible.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!

Challenge 5: Week 3

Unai This is our last week. I can't believe it jet. And, whats more, next tuesday is my birthday. It's impossible to imagine a bett...
